Alley King Hydraulic System:
The Alley King scraper system is probably the most versatile hydraulic scraper in the market place today. It is powered by a 5hp electric over hydraulic power unit, it comes with a 20gallon reservoir, high temp-low level switch, return line filter, for a standard unit. In case of an application where the alleys total more than 1200 ft or365 meters we recommend to use the upgrade to dual motors and pump with 40 gallon reservoir. The system is P.L.C. controlled with a remote mount operating screen, this allows for the elimination of any switches or electric wiring in the ground or close to any corrosive environments It is also possible to start any pump out or mixing processes from the controls and add them into the schedule. The controls monitor pressure levels, never giving an alley more pressure than required; this also allows for pressure safety settings. The track is fully galvanized and has a u.m.h.w. wear –hold down block every 10ft or 305 cm. The cylinders are mounted inside a steel cylinder box that can be recessed into the floor and are 2 “X 28”stroke industrial cylinders with backstops. The Alley King system comes standard with capability for 6 alleys, but is expandable to as many as 12 alleys. It can be set up as end dump or centre dump in which case the slots do not have to be in the middle of the barn.
With a space saver drive it can be mounted in a crossover alley. The chain is ½” marine chain which stands up very well to wear and corrosion. It also utilizes the Alley King controls with a different operating program which monitors amp levels for safety controls.
